Al Willis and the New Swingsters release a 4 track EP of short sharp rockabilly.

Stripped back trio that does everything it needs too to create an authentic acoustic feel that takes you back to where this stuff began in the mid fifties. This is why rockabilly works three musicians can make such a great sound with really little technology just energy and fine musicianship.

Each track is good, Sock Beat Bop is good bopping song, Look Who’s Lonely has a lovely little break in it where the drums just and bass just come together, but Rock – a - Baby Rock is the most full out track with great hiccupping vocals reminiscent of Charlie Feathers. The last track She’s My Little Baby highlights the guitar talents of Al with light picking that really drives the song along.

A good little EP excellently packaged with a lovely 7 inch vinyl and CD, put the CD in your car and enjoy the unbeatable feel and tone of vinyl at home.
