Bo Walton has burst on to the UK rock n roll scene over the last couple of months having released this, his first single. He has gained a lot of press coverage and radio airplay, especially the local BBC Rock n Roll Heaven show.

So is the music worthy of the hype? In a simple word…….. Yes.

The single is double A side but it is the rocker ‘S Too Much that is getting most of the attention, a well paced and excellent jiver. This is the sort of stuff that people refer to as ‘revial’ but you can’t revive what has never gone away, this is simply excellent modern rockin, performed with style, panache and a love and respect for the genre that should not alienate the die hards but will definitely have wider appeal to the casual radio listener.

Hey Mister Night, is a fine ballad with guitar played by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straights fame, the country influences are clear to hear on this, I have seen it compared to Elvis, Billy Ray Cyrus (?), but for me it has a Chris Isaak quality to it, veering between genres and happily finding a place of it’s own.

Bo’s voice is top class and the song writing is particularly strong the sooner the national radio stations start playing this stuff the better. An album is imminent and a tour as well. Watch out for dates, go out and support him, buy the album when it comes it is sure to be a cracker if this single is anything to judge by and plague your radio stations for airplay
