The Lazy Boys are from Dresden and blend country, rockabilly and rock n roll into a mixture of hard drinking bar room rockin. This music belongs in a late night smoke filled club where the band plays long and hard and the audience drinks in the same way. A number of the songs reflect this in their title and their lyrics.

A large number of original tracks are included but you only have to look at who the band choose to cover to see their influnces and their style, Steve Earle, Brad Paisley, Johnny Cash, Tom Waites.

This latest collection opens with the title track which is an adult themed almost threatening heavy brooding and menancing number.

Waves and Bayou Woman are slightly lighter in feel whilst Heartbreaking Woman is the closet the album comes to rockabilly but still retains a country feel to it.

A Mans Gotta Do has a nice two step beat going on that country fans will enjoy or it would be a suitable up tempo stroller or slower jive number.

All in all a confident well produced set but is closer to modern Nashville than '50's Memphis in sound and feel.
