R.I.P. Bobby Lee Trammell

Region 8 News has learned that former state Representative and Craighead County Quorum Court member Bobby Lee Trammell of Jonesboro has died. Trammell reportedly died last night in Jonesboro. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but are expected to be handled by Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Vegas Rocker Freddie Bell Dies at 76

Freddie Bell, a forerunner in the 1950s rock 'n' roll era whose toe-tapping versions of "Giddy Up A Ding Dong" and "Hound Dog" inspired Elvis Presley to cover the songs, has died. He was 76.

Bell died late Sunday in a Las Vegas hospital of complications from cancer, said his publicist Norm Johnson.

Legendary producer Ken Nelson Dead at 96
