Grammy winning singer Sir Tom Jones was once serenaded by rock legend Elvis Presley but the moment was an embarrassing one for Jones, who was taking a shower at that time.
The 'Delilah' hitmaker, was interrupted while having a bath by Presley who wanted to sing him a new song, and did not wait for him to come out of the bathroom, reported contactmusic.com.
"He couldn't wait. I was in the shower and I could hear Elvis Presley singing. When I opened my eyes he was leaning over the door singing to me. I didn't have any clothes on," said Jones remembering the embarrassing moment.
Jones, 68, counts Presley, who was a contemporary as having a major influence on his singing style and stage persona.
Presley who died in 1977 continues to be one of the top earning singers in the music industry and recently beat the 'Queen of Pop' Madonna to become the favourite idol of rock lovers in a poll conducted by digital music broadcaster Music Choice.
